Gutter Cleaning
Working from the roof rather than off a ladder or from the ground allows all gutters to be properly cleaned efficiently and to a high standard. Ladders are secured with equipment to prevent falls and protect gutters against scratches or damage.
Leaves, weeds, dirt, and debris are removed from all gutters either by hand, or with the use of a high-power gutter vacuum system. The choice of method depends on the nature of the job.
All gutters and downpipes are rinsed and flushed with water to ensure the gutters are thoroughly clean. This is the only reliable method to identify blockages in downpipes, and cleans the gutters to a much higher standard than vacuum-only gutter cleaning services.
Once identified, blocked downpipes can then be cleared using a variety of methods and tools.
Finally, any mess from the gutter cleaning is cleaned up and all waste taken away.
Roof Pressure Washing
Our powerful +4000 PSI pressure washers effectively remove lichen, algae and other residue built up on your roof without the use of chemicals.
For terracotta tile roofs, pressure washing produces a fantastic outcome, make your roof tiles look almost new. Lichen can produce acids that leave persistent marks on Colorbond roofs, but pressure washing still produces very good outcomes on Colorbond roofs.
Gutter Guard Cleaning and Removal
Professionally installed, screw fixed, mesh gutter guard can help keep gutters clear in very leafy areas, but they still require regular maintenance. Silt, pollen, seeds and mud can still pass through the mesh, allowing weeds to grow.
We can clean the gutters and guards using a high powered pressure washer to shread weeds and flush out the soil and mud. Downpipes are disconnected to prevent causing blockages.
Damaged or improperly installed gutter guards accumulate sticks, leaves and other debris which can only be removed by removing the gutter guard.
D.I.Y. style gutter guards (brush, foam, loose mesh etc.) are ineffective and unserviceable and can be removed and disposed as part of a standard gutter clean.
External Gutter and Fascia Cleaning
In response to popular demand, we now offer an external gutter cleaning service. With the use of a 6-metre telescopic extension, we can pressure wash single story and almost all double story gutters. Washing away built-up dirt, lichen and algae from your gutter and fascia provides an instant facelift to your home.
Pressure washing the outside of the gutters produces a fantastic outcome where the gutters are in good condition. This process is not recommended for degraded gutters and fascia that may be further damaged by pressure washing.
